Platform for Challenge accepted - Europe

This is an international platform for young people to discover youth-relevant topics and issues in Europe. The topics and ideas have been raised by young people across Europe. Feel invited to explore those topics, dive into them by completing digital playlists to challenge yourself and discuss your ideas. Within the framework of the Youth Budget, the project idea arose to develop this platform. The Youth Budget is a project of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth within the framework of the Federal Government's Youth Strategy.

A voice to young people

Support for engaged young people to develop relevant topics and create micro-challenges for the platform

Micro-Challenges

Creation of challenges to youth relevant topics (e.g. climate change, radicalisation, inclusion, equality) ready to play for young people with the possibility to discuss internationally

International and local events

International online events and physical events locally for young people to exchange ideas concerning those topics and by running micro-challenges in workshops

The four steps of the project

Step 1 Collection of topics from young people

Young people suggested and collected youth relevant topics and created challenges related to them

Step 2 Time to challenge

Challenges are ready to play for young people, discussions are happening digitally and in online meetings

Step 3 Youth forum

Young people from all over Europe meet in July 2022 in Germany to discuss challenge topics and create policy recommendations

Step 4 Policy Recommendations

Policy recommendations from young people are given to policy makers on local and european levels
